For Sami of Andro. This was actually SO enjoyable to paint, thanks for letting me draw him!

Finished size comparison between Payton & I’s fursonas. I’m pretty sure our wings would need to be larger than this, they seem out of proportion with the body size, but I ran out of paper.

Ahh this is so big compared to what I typically work with. 11” x 14”!

I meant to upload this on dA with my Spring 2011 Sketch Dump, but it escaped and crawled under a stack of papers. It’s been hiding on my desk, gambling away my art supply fund, ever since.

An example of what my watercolors, coffee, and oven roasted salt look like. This is my go-to background, my comfort zone, my painting crutch.

Ugh I ought to explore more.

This far-less-interesting splotch is watercolor & salt, minus the glorious life-substance that is coffee.

& people wonder why I use coffee so much in my work. It’s good for so much more than drinking, snorting coffee grinds, and shooting up pure caffeine into the crook of your arm.
