Another redesign of Star. I just seem to be eternally playing with him until I get it right; this might be the final concept though.

Final concept for the Night Wyvern species. This particular male is Dalmer, Lord Gerivaarn’s dragon.

Night Wyverns are the largest of all dragon species, but are the last dragons present on Alora, with numbers fewer than 200. Females have more blunt, rounded chins/muzzles and smaller spiny plates. They are completely nocturnal. Their red, pupil-lacking eyes are extremely sensitive to sunlight, which is highly damaging to the retina and causes inflammation which can lead to infection. Prolonged exposure to sunlight will cause permanent blindness.
Night Wyverns are undoubtedly the most visually intimidating of all dragons, with their great size, vibrant red eyes, and black hide. They are, however, very gentle. They reside in the Southern Mountains, in the vampire hold there. It can be assumed that they were selectively bred (with the aid of the dark arts) for the selfish purposes of the vampires there, though they are viewed now by vampires as an independent race of sentient beings. Not all Night Wyverns have a rider, and certainly not all vampires have a Night Wyvern. To be paired with a wyvern is considered a more upper class privilege than anything, since being a rider makes a vampire more of that dragon’s sponsor than owner.
Night Wyverns are the least intelligent of all dragons. They are incapable of verbal speech, but even their dialogue via telepacy sounds like broken, uneducated english. But what they lack in intelligence, they more than make up for in loyalty and emotional support. They are extremely social and have absolutely remarkable eyesight and an incredible sense of smell, though most are hard at hearing, so they are typically more noisy than they realize.
They fly at higher altitudes than other dragons and, though not as nearly as agile, they have the endurance to fly farther and clock a better time doing so. Their fire does not burn as hot as most dragons, but they can emit a deal more of it and hold their flame longer.

So a few days ago Kassie asked me to draw hot guys. Which, to me, translates as hi I want to see Jared’s dick.

Whatever; I always deliver.

Sanctusus Espirutus
Most prominent figure in Caeli mythology, believed to be the guardian of Asera. This androgynous entity’s name is often used synonymously with the spirit of Asera itself. He supposedly takes the form of a great blue sky whale, although with teeth and size great enough to completely dwarf the likes of even blue sky whales. Purely legend, of course.
Also known as Simkaye.

Great Blue Sky Whale
Largest of all sky whales; absolutely dwarfs the other guys. Also the most rare; these sky whales are virtually extinct.
