Run motherfucker. More Basilisk concept. Okay time for commissions
Running Basilisk Scorpion
There’s been a lot of critique on the anatomy on these guys, particularly because of their backwards, grasshopper-like limbs. They do look pretty awkward when they’re just standing still or moseying around, but they’ve evolved for sprinting. More: [link] [link]
Contessa & Gemini with their Greater Etsa steeds (unsaddled).
These are the two most common coat types for etsa. Leva is infuriatingly disobedient sometimes, she likes to not listen. Leva is “fixed”, but she often acts like a saucy, breeding female, which has earned her the loving nickname “little tease” from Gemini. Leva is very affectionate and cuddly with her rider when she’s not being a little shit.
Ziev is more unique in the fact that he endured military training alongside Contessa. He’s just as playful and mischievous as other etsa, but he knows when duty calls, so to say. Ziev is not nearly as skittish as other etsa and will charge dangers with Tess when needed (think of it as similar to training for war horses). But what makes Ziev a real gem is his intelligence, he’s one of the very few etsa that has a large comprehension of the human tongue and will, on occasion, communicate directly to his rider using click-speak (similar to morse code, used like an ape communicating with sign language). Ziev’s intelligence and strong bond with Tess make them a remarkably effective team.
I don’t pay much attention to the characters of the Sky Whale universe. Gemini & Tess are sisters. Gemini may be taller and saucier, but she’s actually the younger of the two. They’re a lot more similar than their outward appearance tells—family resemblance shows when they’re together.
Gemini is a free spirit, Tess has a world of responsibilities on her shoulders so she’s a lot more serious business.
Carry me home
Jared carrying Mic home. Or to the bedroom, more likely. Mic wears heels some days, even when not in actual drag. It’s whatever. This is a very private moment for them, actually.
